Genghis Con ... and New Look for E.G.G.

Which brings me to the next topic ... I've decided to move forward in a vastly different direction with E.G.G. The artwork is no longer going to be in an idea of making it as "Sunday Comic Strip" as I had in the past. It will still be stark Black and White and it will be familiar and have cartoon aspects ... but there will be much more of a realistic feel to the work. It feels more mature and I think it adds to the overall idea of the piece. I hope you all like it! Just to show you what the direction is ... I am going to slip you the "Speculative" cover art and finished "Speculative" cover. Don't forget to click the link under them for a higher res look!

Fantasticon!

FANTASTICON is this coming Sunday, Nov. 8th, @the Emerald Theatre in Mt. Clemens, MI.(near Detroit) That's this weekend folks! The E.G.G. crew will be there! The Show starts at 11:00a.m. and ends at 5:00p.m. We want to see all of our friends at the event! Tickets are only $5.00 at the door!

Update

I am very pleased to announce that "The Trouble With Dames" is in the can (so to speak!). I sent that bad boy off to Ka-Blam! for printing yesterday! I should (fingers crossed, everything goes right) have it back in time for MID-OHIO CON!

Which brings me to my next announcement: I WILL MOST CERTAINLY BE MAKING AN APPEARANCE (sans Joshua D. Boeringa) AT MID-OHIO CON! This is great and exciting news. I'm going to be making the trek with Friends and fellow artists Jon Gordon, Dean Stahl, (I believe) Ryan Claytor, and possibly Jay Jacot (not yet 100% confirmed). This is going to be an amazing opportunity and super fun trip! You guys don't want to miss this event!

Hello, Me again... yup! Robert Forest. You know, Creator/Illustrator for E.G.G.! Anywho, I've decided to try my hand at doing highly stylized Sketch Cards. So that is what Put Up YER DUKES! ...and Draw! is going to mainly be about. This website will be just a light hearted, family friendly blog to showcase mostly my sketch cards. At least that is the current theory. I will also be posting other fun art but I will keep it all in the realm of an all ages theme in mind! *wink* So without any further ado!
