A poem by Kathryn Jane Forest ... no. 1

The fire burning hot and bright
Thick smoke slinking through chilled night
Hands rubbed raw and jaw clenched tight
He barely put up any fight

  1. Hey, where'd my comment go? :( I had comments on this one and on the other poem one. Laaaames!

Anyway, I'll try and remember what I said before... I really like this one because of how serene and terrifying she looks at the same time. It wasn't how I imagined it when I was thinking about art to go with the poem, but it fits it perfectly!

  2. Well ... good. I'm glad it works even though it differs from your original thoughts.
