Cartoon - Cartoon!
So, I've been reading cartooning books lately ... mostly books written by Chris Hart. Anyway, I want to do more cartoony stuff and want to be able to inject that into my E.G.G. work even more than previously in that work. Make it look even more exaggerated and fun! So, anywho ... here's my cartoony Superman!

Mouse Guard!
So, I'm a huge fan of David Petersen and what he does as far as his work. Mouse guard is gorgeous ... and the stories are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Besides that, the man is a very cool and down to Earth guy! I've had the great chance to speak with him on many occassions. Being from the same state as him is in my favour ... so I submit to you my Mouse Guard picture! ...

E.G.G. News ... monday oct. 19th.
Not a lot on the news for today, but I did want to share that you can still get copies of "The Trouble With Dames". Just email us at edwardggunn@gmail.com if interested. You can still purchase the Issue of Shrunken Wool comics No. 5 featuring one of our short stories ..."Daisies and Deadmen". In addition to that, TWO FOLD COMICS is going to be releasing a Trade with all (or maybe just their favourites) the comics ever released in the Shrunken Wool Comics so far. This is exciting news for us because "Daisies and Deadmen" is going to be in that trade. YAY! So, keep an eye out for that! You can see Shrunken Wool via TWO FOLD COMICS both HERE! on Blogger and HERE! on Myspace.

New but Old ... SALE!
So, This is an old piece of art that I shared on the E.G.G. blogger a long time ago. I love this piece because I absolutely love Ross Campbell's style and I wanted to do a piece that would be his character Cleo if she would be Wonder Woman. This is what I came up with.
This piece is done on 11X14 Bristol Vellum (100 lb.)paper. I am selling it for $100.00 (plus shipping and handling) and there are zero prints and no other copies of it any where else. If you are interested in purchasing it send me an email at robertcforest@hotmail.com
You can find Ross Campbell on line at:
Website: Green Oblivion
Deviant Art: MoonCalfe
Live Jounal: MoonCalfe

Mid-Ohio SUCCESS!
I'd like to start off by thanking the guys from L.A.D.D. who came with me Jonathan D. Gordon, Dean Stahl, Jay Jacot, and Ryan Claytor for helping to make the trip to Columbus and back a far more pleasurable experience than it would have been without them. I'd also like to comment that I missed having Joshua D. Boeringa along side of me at the booth. E.G.G. is just as much yours as it is mine and you were notably missed. Looking forward to "Con-ing" with you in the future!
So, Mid-Ohio Con was a riot fest! I had so much fun and met so many wonderful people, special thanks to Kevin Wolf from "PANGAEA" fame and his lovely assistant Jamie Pitt who helped to make the day more fun and easier to pass the time, same goes for Brett Wood and Eric Rampson from "The Silver Bullet" and Ronin Studios... these were two of the coolest guys a man could have near him at a booth. And last but certainly not least the talented crew at Mutant Cactus : Robert Gant, Derek Watson, and Danny Cooper. It was great sitting next to you guys... great work you guys do and a lovely bunch of individuals.
I had a lot of success with the show and thanks to all the people who stopped by the E.G.G. booth to show your support to our humble little Food Noir world and view my art. Also thanks to those who had me do sketches ... the Alfred E. Newman and Yoda were great fun! Having said all of that, it was nice to wake up in my bed at home this morning with my wife and our rabbits. It's been a good day of relaxation and seeing "Zombieland" on the big screen.
-Until next time ... Oh, right ... and I am pretty sure that Joshua D. Boeringa and myself are going to be making an appearance at Fantasticon in the Emerald Theatre, 31 N. Walnut, Mt. Clemens, MI 48043 on Sunday Nov. 8th. Doors open at 11a.m. and it ends at 5p.m. Admission is $5.00. I hope to see a bunch of people out there at the show that day!
-Really done now ...
